Baby Registry Must Haves I Used and Loved

Travel System

A stroller and carseat travel system is the most convenient item you can have on your registry. The one in the picture is Chicco Bravo Travel SystemΒ if I didn’t already have a stroller, I would go withΒ this travel system. You can also buy strollers and carseats separate from each other. The stroller I own is theΒ Baby Jogger City SelectΒ and I absolutely love it, it also has a couple of different carseats that can be attached to it.

I also tried out the Tango Stroller Travel System and reviewed it in this post

Dockatot

I didn’t own this with Alyssa (my first) but I have heard so many great things about theΒ Dockatot.

***Update: We LOVED it with out second and plan to use it with our third!

Diaper Genie

Trust me you’ll want something to keep those stinky diapers from smelling up the house! I owned thisΒ diaper genieΒ with Alyssa, it was great!

Bottles

You’re going to want to choose the perfect bottles for you and your little one. When I had Alyssa I used theΒ AventΒ bottles and absolutely loved them. This time I plan to breastfeed longer than I did with Alyssa but I will still introduce bottles. This time I will be trying theΒ comotomoΒ bottles and theΒ Nuk Simply NaturalΒ bottles. I’ve heard great things about all of them.

Halo Bassinet

So many people rave about theΒ Halo Bassinet. It’s perfect for the side of the bed the first few months, before you transition your little one into a crib.

Baby Swaddles

Alyssa was not a fan of baby swaddles, so I am hoping baby girl #2 will love them because they can be so convenient for sleeping and keeping them warm.

Diaper Bag

I have a few favorites for baby bags, I owned quite a few with Alyssa! My Ultimate Top 3 diaper bag is theΒ Skip Hop Diaper Bag Β I will have to rebuy it this time because hubby ruined the one I had with Alyssa! It is so spacious and can fit so much, I love it! They have it in a few colors:Β Pink,Β Beige, andΒ Smoke.

Here is a post all about my fave diaper bag + what I pack in it!

Swaddle Blankets

Perfect Baby Essentials to wrap your little ones in areΒ muslin swaddle blankets.

Skip Hop Sound Machine

Alyssa is 2.5 years old and a sound machine has been a must since day one. I love Skip Hop, and I will be purchasing thisΒ skip hop sound machineΒ this time around.

Baby Sleepers

Baby sleepers to keep the babies comfortable, and the parents life easier. If you can get zipper sleepers, I highly recommend them! Here is a similar pair ofΒ sleepersΒ to the one in the pictures.

Pacifier

Alyssa didn’t own aΒ wubbanubΒ but ill be trying it with the princess this time around. Alyssa always loved, and still loves herΒ MAM Orthodontic PacifiersΒ (I will also be purchasing these for baby #2)

Baby Monitor

Definitely a must have item.

Nose Frida

The nose fridaΒ was a serious life savor! After you get used to using it that is.

Carrier

I’ve heard so many great things about the Tula Baby Carrier as well as the LILLEbaby carriers.Β I used the Ergo Baby Carrier with my first and loved that one! I plan on trying a few.

I hope this list of the best baby registry must haves that I used and loved has helped you. If you feel I left anything out that I must have for our little princess, please let me know down below in the comments!

  1. We LOVE our Tula baby carriers! It’s important to find one that fits your body. I thought I’d love the Lillebaby, but it was SO uncomfortable for me.

  2. These are sure must haves for the newborn. I have kept my own list too when I gave birth to my kids. But, good thing, you have baby monitors available these days.

    1. I’m glad I could help! Little ones definitely require a lot but it’s so worth it πŸ’•

  3. Wow, these are a cute baby stuff and I do really like. My niece will have a baby shower by next month and it such a perfect timing to read your post I can now choose a best gift for her baby.

  4. I remember when we were doing the baby registry for my son, it was so fun! The stroller system, bassinet, and bottles are definitely a must have! Although I would recommend registering for one of each type of bottle. My son was really picky and we havd to go through every brand until we found one he would take to!

    1. That is so true! Babies can definitely be picking, I didn’t even think of that because Alyssa wasn’t very selective she took any brand!

  5. You know, I’m a single man, middle aged, a bit set in my ways. Some days I look at parents and I think, ‘I’m glad I’ve been spared all that trouble.’ But reading your post brings out strong nest making instincts in me and reminds me that the only reason I’m doing anything is so that one day, when the right lady comes along, if I’m very lucky maybe I will be blessed with children myself. So, thank you for this blog post. It’s got me thinking.

    1. You’re very welcome! And I’m sure that day will come, and you will hopefully feel that your life is complete in ways you never thought possible!

  6. Looks like you have a pretty complete list here. I loved my baby carrier, to have my hands free and still snuggle up with my babies.

  7. Thanks for the list of essentials. I am not expecting but I am still hoping to become a mother. This list will greatly help the planning.

  8. This is a great list of items for your Baby Registry. For me the item I used the most was the baby carrier, I was able to keep my baby close to my heart and have my hands free.

    1. Haha! I know the feeling! Before we got pregnant with our 2nd, I jumped for joy because I could finally use all the gadgets I was eyeing πŸ˜‚

  9. These suggestions are totally spot on …coming from a mum of two. For us the baby monitor was so important especially when our children slept upstairs and we were downstairs

  10. These are definitely some amazing picks for a registry. That diaper bag is absolutely gorgeous!
